Starting17 October 2024, Astro's Sports channels will be updated with new names and channel numbers, reflecting a clearer focus on specific sports. This update offers a more cohesive viewing experience with a simpler way to recognize the channels by the sports that is on the channel.

As part of this update, we are excited to announce a comprehensive rebranding and recategorization of our sports channels. This update will enhance viewer experience, deliver even more compelling sports content, and strengthen Astro's position as the Home of Sports.

4.  What will happen to my Astro Super Sport channels?

Astro SuperSport channels have been updated to make it easier to recognize the channels by the sports they feature, such as Astro Premier League, Astro Football, and more. All channels will be updated based on your subscription. For new additional channel add-ons, please refer to our Commercial Support Unit (CSU) Care Line.  

5. Is the updated sports channel available for all packages?

For CE: Biz One customers will be able enjoy all the updated sports channels. Customers on other packs will continue to enjoy the Sports channels that they are subscribed to. We highly encourage customers to upgrade to Biz One to enjoy all the updated sports channels. Please contact CSU for more details.

For Hotel: All channels will be updated based on your subscription. For new additional channel add-ons, please refer to CSU or your account manager.

6.Can I add additional channels?

Yes. If you are on CE packs, you may upgrade to Biz One to enjoy all the available sports channels. If you are on Hospitality packs, you may contact CSU or your account manager regarding your request.

7.Is it possible to swap to another channel? If so, what is the process?

For CE: All sports channels are available with Biz One. If you are on legacy pack, please contact CSU to upgrade.

For Hotel: Swapping channels is possible based on your package subscription. Please contact CSU or your account manager for details.

8.Do I need to replace my current Astro Box for this Sports channels update?

No, you do not need to replace your Astro Box.
